Turkish Campus, founded in 2009, is the leading Turkish language resource available on the Internet. Within a short time, we succeeded in providing services to a very diverse population of students from all around the world. We are a young Language school with a motivated and dedicated team of teachers and tutors. Each day we work towards making learning Turkish more fun and easy for our students. Whether you are in New York or in Berlin or live in Istanbul - we are available wherever the Internet is.

who is the founder?

Turkish Campus was created by Ahmet Ustunel, a Turkish native speaker, who has a passion for learning and teaching languages. After teaching Turkish in three different countries for more than 8 years, Mr. Ustunel moved to USA and received his master’s degree in education. During the last two years he added online Turkish courses to his in-person trainings. This experience made him notice that the Internet is radically changing the way people learn foreign languages. All language learners can benefit from online language exercises, read online foreign newspapers and use online dictionaries. The Internet is removing previous barriers to learning a new language. With this motivation and inspiration Mr. Ustunel started to develop his online curriculum and his website to teach Turkish so that everyone who wants to learn Turkish can have access to study materials, exercises, language resources, and most importantly native Turkish language teachers in the comfort of their homes. By developing this web site we hope that anyone, anywhere in the world can learn Turkish.

why we are different?

First of all, all of our lessons are very individualized and customizable depending on the students' needs. For example in our beginner program we integrate different aspects of Turkish culture into our curriculum and we notice that this really enhances the learning of the students. We also support our students by creating audio and written notes, which we hand out after every lesson to make sure that they can practice between lessons. In our intermediate and advanced programs we combine fun activities with focusing on detailed grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and fluency to make sure that the students learn without being bored.

Why do I like teaching Turkish so much?

I have tutored students in many subjects including math and technology, but none of these jobs was more fun then teaching Turkish. Since language teaching involves a lot of cultural exchange, teaching Turkish gave me the chance to learn about different countries, cultures, languages, and even history. My students and I discovered similarities between the music of our countries, learned different words for the same foods, and explored the diverse origins of Turkish words. As someone who loves Turkish language and enjoys teaching very much, being a Turkish teacher is a very fulfilling profession.
